Job Description:

A forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a technically strong Senior Fire Engineer to join their established London team. The successful Senior Fire Engineer will join a growing fire safety division, delivering tailored engineering solutions across commercial, healthcare, education, and residential schemes, including high-rise and complex developments across Greater London and the South East.

Job Responsibility:

Overseeing fire strategy development
Delivering robust fire safety design
Managing client relationships throughout the RIBA lifecycle
Conducting site inspections and fire safety audits
Leading technical discussions with architects, contractors, and approval bodies
Providing technical mentorship and peer reviews within the team
Supporting client delivery and contributing to business development

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Fire Engineering or a related discipline
5+ years’ UK experience in a fire consultancy environment
Strong knowledge of ADB, BS 9991/9999, and performance-based fire design
Progressing towards or already MIFireE / IEng / CEng
Experienced with CFD modelling and evacuation analysis (desirable)
Confident communicator with leadership capabilities
Based in London or within a reasonable commute

Nice to have:

Experienced with CFD modelling and evacuation analysis
