Job Description:

One of the UK’s leading independent fire engineering consultancy is looking for a skilled Senior Fire Engineer to join their expanding and experienced team. With over 40 fire professionals in their Kent head office, and 100+ across the UK, this consultancy delivers expert fire safety solutions across the residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors for both private and public sector clients.

Job Responsibility:

Lead small to medium-sized projects
work closely with internal and external design teams to develop, review, and implement fire strategies
take ownership of projects
contribute to complex fire engineering solutions across a range of building types.

Requirements:

An Engineering Council accredited
Associate of IFE
BSc or MSc in Fire Engineering
formed a plan to become Chartered with a body such as the Engineering Council
strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and design standards
demonstrate expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and analysis for smoke movement
develop and utilise additional computer modelling software, such as CFAST, Pyrosim and Pathfinder, to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
