Job Description:

One of the UK’s leading independent fire engineering consultancy is looking for a skilled Senior Fire Engineer to join their expanding and experienced team. With over 40 fire professionals in their Kent head office, and 100+ across the UK, this consultancy delivers expert fire safety solutions across the residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors for both private and public sector clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead small to medium-sized projects
  • work closely with internal and external design teams to develop, review, and implement fire strategies
  • take ownership of projects
  • contribute to complex fire engineering solutions across a range of building types.

Requirements:

  • An Engineering Council accredited
  • Associate of IFE
  • BSc or MSc in Fire Engineering
  • formed a plan to become Chartered with a body such as the Engineering Council
  • strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and design standards
  • demonstrate expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and analysis for smoke movement
  • develop and utilise additional computer modelling software, such as CFAST, Pyrosim and Pathfinder, to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
