Job Description:

As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will be a key member of our technical team, contributing to the delivery of innovative fire safety strategies across a diverse portfolio of projects. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including environmental designers, building services engineers, and sustainability consultants—to develop integrated fire engineering solutions that support safe, efficient, and climate-positive buildings

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure technical quality, compliance, performance, and consistency across all Fire Engineering design outputs
  • Review and approve design deliverables including drawings, schematics, schedules, technical reports, and specifications
  • Coordinate effectively between internal disciplines and with external consultants
  • Take lead responsibility for coordination between disciplines within the office and with external consultants
  • Develop and apply fire engineering strategies using CFD modelling and tools such as Pyrosim, Pathfinder, and CFAST
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
  • Support business development through client engagement and proposal writing

Requirements:

  • Degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in delivering fire engineering solutions in the built environment
  • Proficiency in fire modelling software and relevant codes/standards
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (e.g., IFE, CEng)
  • Passionate about sustainability and integrated design
