Job Description:

A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join their expanding fire engineering team. This opportunity for a Senior Fire Engineer offers involvement in diverse projects across the built environment, supporting clients from early design stages through to construction and completion. The Senior Fire Engineer will play a vital role in delivering technically robust fire engineering solutions while helping shape the next generation of engineers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing medium to large and technically complex fire engineering projects
  • Delivering fire strategy design, analysis, and assurance during construction phases
  • Working across a varied portfolio of UK and international projects
  • Supporting and mentoring graduate engineers, apprentices, and junior engineers
  • Providing expert consultancy advice and responding to technical client queries
  • Contributing to technical excellence, quality processes, and best practice
  • Supporting business growth through relationship building and client engagement

Requirements:

  • An Engineering Council accredited BEng (Hons), MEng, or MSc in a relevant discipline
  • Associate membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE)
  • A clear pathway towards Chartered Engineer status
  • Strong communication and client-facing consultancy skills
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
