Job Description:

Shape the future of fire engineering with an international leader. An independent, specialist fire safety engineering consultancy with an international intention to support a safe future in fire safety and a passion for sustainability, seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join their Sheffield office. Play a key role in delivering creative, performance-based fire engineering solutions on exciting and complex projects across the UK and internationally.

Job Responsibility:

Developing and delivering fire safety strategies across a range of sectors, from commercial and residential to high-risk and specialist facilities
Applying advanced modelling tools (e.g. CFD, evacuation modelling) to provide innovative, performance-based design solutions
Collaborating closely with architects, design teams, and clients to integrate fire safety into every stage of the project lifecycle
Supporting the development of junior engineers and contributing to knowledge-sharing within the team

Requirements:

Experience in fire engineering consultancy (ideally 2+ years)
Knowledge of UK regulations and standards, with a good grasp of performance-based fire design
Experience with fire modelling (CFD, evacuation) would be an advantage
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team

Nice to have:
