Job Description:

A specialist fire consultancy is looking for a Senior Fire Engineer to join their growing team in London. This established firm, known for its expertise in fire safety, provides critical assessments and inspections across the residential sector.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting Fire Strategies, Fire Inspection Reports, Fire Installation Inspections, Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), and EWS1 evaluations on both new build and existing property
Evaluating external facades to confirm compliance with post-Grenfell regulations
Producing Fire Inspection Reports and risk assessments
Conducting on-site Fire Installation Inspections
Assessing and grading fire risks on residential buildings, both new and existing
Collaborating with the Fire Design team to provide comprehensive fire safety solutions

Requirements:

A degree in Fire Engineering, Engineering or relevant
Member of IFE or IFSM
Over 4 years of consultancy background
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, including post Building Safety Act facade regulations
A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a specialist team
