Job Description:

A forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a skilled Senior Fire Engineer to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on technically complex projects across a mix of commercial, residential, and public sector schemes throughout London.

Job Responsibility:

Producing and reviewing detailed fire strategies
Liaising with design teams
Ensuring compliance with UK fire regulations and codes including BS 9991, BS 9999, and ADB
Managing client relationships
Mentoring junior engineers
Contributing to internal QA processes
Working closely with architects, contractors, and approval bodies to deliver high-standard fire safety solutions from design through to post-occupancy stages

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Fire Engineering or related subject
5+ years’ consultancy experience in the fire engineering field
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and fire codes
Experience with FDS, CFD modelling, and evacuation analysis (preferred)
Able to manage projects independently and provide mentorship
Member of the IFE or working towards Chartered status

Nice to have:

Experience with FDS
CFD modelling
evacuation analysis
