Senior Fire Engineer

• Applying core fire engineering principles, regulatory framework, codes and standards on simple fire safety design projects
• Develop peripheral Core Technical Knowledge
• Site visits and client/project team meetings
• Put forward solutions based on codes, standards, technical evidence and previous work/case studies
• Undertake self-analysis of technical development needs
• Suggest new, and seek out opportunities on existing research and development projects
• Project manage small schemes from inception to completion
• Assist more senior engineers to develop detailed fee proposals on complex projects

• Engineering degree
• Member of the IFE
• MSc/MEng in related fire or engineering subjects desirable
• Previous experience within a related role
