Job Description:

Senior Fire Consultant role with a respected, employee-owned consultancy specializing in fire safety, risk management, and compliance. Opportunity to work on UK-wide projects across sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, residential, and public buildings. Collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary team support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct fire safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews across a diverse property portfolio
  • Undertake site surveys and desktop reviews, liaising with clients, project teams, and enforcement authorities
  • Prepare high-quality reports, action plans, and training materials
  • Provide expert advice on fire safety standards, codes of practice, and statutory requirements
  • Support and mentor junior consultants, helping to develop technical capability across the team
  • Contribute to research, technical discussions, and best practice development within the company

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, or Fire Safety (or equivalent)
  • NEBOSH Fire or Health & Safety qualification (minimum)
  • Member of IOSH or the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE)
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in fire safety consultancy, compliance, or risk management
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when required
