We’re looking for a FinCrime Product Compliance Senior Manager to support our Wise Platform Product team as they launch and scale Wise Platform for North America, specifically across our US and Canada markets. Wise Platform is our product for other financial institutions or businesses that need access to payments to run their businesses and support their customers. Your primary focus will be to help develop scalable processes to identify and effectively manage financial crime risks across a range of existing and new product types, markets and integrations globally. You will also have exposure to business development conversations - ensuring we remain compliant, while unlocking growth.
Job Responsibility
Collaborate with product teams to define controls and interpret regulation to ensure all new Wise Platform products globally have the right financial crime controls
Keep an eye on emerging typologies and regulatory requirements for the US and Canada and implement changes as necessary
Understand Wise FinCrime controls and be comfortable working with both the Wise Platform team and our Global FinCrime product teams to make any necessary changes
Communicate with our partners about our compliance program and expectations
Be able to identify challenges to our regulatory permissions and work to unlock growth through new licenses as required
Requirements
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial crime compliance, with a particular focus on correspondent banking and/or Banking as A Service (BaAS) program
Experience collaborating with external partners, as well as internal product and engineering teams to develop a solution that is tailored for the Platform Partner
Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex regulatory frameworks and explain them clearly to stakeholders
Problem-solver who uses regulations and data to drive business decisions
Experience working across cross border payments, with specific experience in the US and Canadian markets
Strong communication and presentation skills, and are able to present on the Wise Platform product to regulators and/or auditors
Willing to travel to Wise offices located across different countries
