Requirements

4+ years of experience related to Finance, Accounting, Audit, or other related fields
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting or related majors
Strong knowledge of accounting standards
Knowledge of financial markets, banking products, understanding of key concepts in finance, financial reporting, IFRS, and regulatory policy
Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with complex spreadsheets
Experience with financial & regulatory reporting processes
Experience with scripting, data transformation tools, and data analytics platforms such as KNIME and/or Tableau
Clear and concise communication skills in English
Ukrainian language knowledge is a strong preference
Proactive attitude, ability to learn quickly and work successfully both independently and within a team, strong analytical skills, judgment and decision-making abilities

Job Responsibility

Assist with financial and management reporting, financial control, planning and analysis, finance analytics, monitoring and forecasting
Contribute to delivering high quality finance business intelligence support to our key business stakeholders and the CCOs
Drive key project initiatives of the country finance teams from a technical SME capacity in the CE sub-cluster, with a focus on the Ukraine franchise
Identify and resolve emerging problems using subject-matter knowledge in finance, and proactively escalate issues as needed
Assist with the implementation of new process workflows for the team and contribute to process reengineering initiatives
Execute the finance team’s processes and in-house procedures as per defined parameters in a timely manner
Implement the necessary controls and take the necessary measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of the data used for reporting
Execute the internal control procedures in line with the internal policies and guidelines

Job Responsibility

Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events
Produce metrics to senior management highlighting key issues and remediation status and maintain and enhance related operational and analytical procedures
Assist in the development of process efficiencies and improvement efforts as well as data quality improvement projects
Interpret policies, guidelines, and processes and resolve complex problems and transactions
Assist with the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience
Qualified/or Part Qualified Accountant (CA, ACA, or equivalent) trained within a Big 4 professional services firm or multinational bank
Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP Accounting Standards
Experience in Financial Services/Banking industry including strong knowledge of Banking Products for e.g. Different types of Loans/ Deposits/ Derivatives (essential)
Financial Statements production experience with the ability to manipulate large datasets in Excel and produce analysis from different viewpoints
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel is essential
Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
Ability to make decisions based on imperfect information, able to explain and stand behind these decisions
Problem Solver and Team player. Ability to identify gaps, propose solutions and improve to make processes efficient

Job Responsibility

Support the production and delivery of IFRS & US GAAP based Financial Statements of the Banking Chain regulated entities and regulatory reporting
Prepare different types of reports
reconciliations and analysis with commentary for the numerous stakeholders including senior management
Take part in the production of the Company and Group FinRep and other regulatory reporting by providing support and guidance
Communicate updates

impacts of new business/deals to enable effective reporting to the regulator
Perform various control functions within financial and regulatory reporting
