Job Description:

Senior Financial Planning & Analysis role at Wells Fargo involving financial research, analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting management decision making through financial metrics and strategic planning.

Job Responsibility:

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives related to financial research, analysis, and reporting
Review and analyze moderately complex financial data to develop key metrics reporting including budgeting analysis, forecasting analysis, variance analysis, variance commentary, reporting, reviews, and presentation
Contribute to large scale planning such as economic research in support of management decision making
Research key financial metric forecasting projections and manage financial reporting to support forecasting and budgeting processes
Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning and enhancing financial reporting
Lead projects impacting one or more lines of business
Establish effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standards
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Manage centralized forecasting processes and tools
Maintain Finance hierarchy and structural alignment
Build central financial transfer tracking infrastructure
Own initial calculation of transfer impacts for budget and management reporting adjustments
Track incoming expenses against established Statements of Work
Own maintenance of mapping between Financial hierarchy and Human Resources hierarchy
Conduct in-depth research of financial data and analyze and report findings
Develop continuous improvement mindset within the team
Document procedures to ensure effective repeatable processes
Analyze trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Requirements:

4+ years of Finance experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Bachelor's/master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
CA/CFA/MBA a plus
Experience in finance or accounting roles including monthly close, management reporting, Monthly business review decks
Ability to perform complex analysis, build financial models, draw conclusions and communicate recommendations
Exposure to key accounting tools like Oracle Financials, Essbase
Exceptional Essbase, Excel, PowerPoint skills with strong knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookups, tracing formulas, and macros
Working knowledge of key tools like Dodeca FAST and Power BI or any Next Gen AI tools
Ability to prepare executive level presentations, management reporting, and analysis
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Sense of urgency with ability to adapt to fast changing priorities and timelines
Self-starter with exceptional critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Strong organizational skills

Nice to have:

CA/CFA/MBA qualification
Experience with Dodeca FAST and Power BI or Next Gen AI tools
