Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement strategic business initiatives and partner across functions to support the development and execution of financial objectives related to revenues, expenses, capital, and risk
Support short- and long-term budgeting, forecasting and planning processes through engagement with functional partners
Partner with stakeholders to execute financial business decisions and plans
Provide insightful analysis and thoughtful challenge to inform strategic and financial plans and contribute to performance-based outcomes
Maintain partnerships with Markets Funding & Liquidity Management business heads and other functional partners to support and inform financial business decisions and plans
Partner with other Finance stakeholders to support business/function in meeting financial objectives
Provide financial insights and analysis, including details on variances to financial plans to Markets Funding & Liquidity Management business leads and stakeholders
Support development of business cases and analyses to inform and influence business investment decisions
Partner with Markets Funding & Liquidity Management business leads and COO teams to identify potential impacts/issues and to recommend corrective actions for variances to financial plans
Partner with COO teams on a variety of activities including expense optimization opportunities and initiatives
Provide financial reports and analytics, including key financial metrics, results, trends and analysis
Prepare Quarterly Business Review materials with Markets Funding & Liquidity Management business, COO teams, and other functional partners
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as an Associate, Vice President, or related position for a global financial services institution
Experience in Financial Services industry and knowledge of financial products across different asset classes, including equities, fixed income, ETFs, alternative investments, and index funds
Data analytics and interpretation using large datasets and Excel
Creating presentation slides for senior management and stakeholders to facilitate decision-making using Excel and PowerPoint
Risk and compliance management
Process improvement and automation
Operational risks mitigation
Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision making
