As a result of a recently implemented transformation called Business Operations Transformation (BOT), IKEA Netherlands is looking for a country Senior Financial Controller. In this role you will work in the country Finance department of IKEA Netherlands in Haarlem. The Finance department is the spider in the web when it comes to receiving, processing, and delivering all kinds of financial information. The team consists of 12 direct colleagues and a shared service centre in Bangalore. Job Responsibility
Identify areas that can be improved within the finance and procurement processes and lead the change
Lead colleagues in setting up and maintaining financial structures to track costs and/or sales and margin performance and support decision-making in accordance with global frameworks
Work closely with various business partners to gain insights into costs and performance and drive improvements in ways of working
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, led by Business Navigation, and ensure proper follow-up of costs and business cases
Work closely with local and/or centralized Accounting & Reporting Operations to ensure relevant, complete, accurate management reporting
Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group
Implement internal controls in the financial area and periodically test their existence and operation
Requirements
Master’s degree in accounting & control or a related field with 5 years of work experience (ACA/ACCA or a local equivalent is a plus)
Good knowledge of Dutch GAAP, understanding of tax administration, statutory and regulatory reporting, and knowledge to support an audit process
Broad knowledge of financial and operational processes and tools (Power BI) for accounting and reporting, preferably within a multichannel retail organization
Good knowledge of project management processes, including methods and tools, and how to integrate them into daily work
Work agile, open to change, and apply learning to perform successfully under new circumstances
Able to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders to achieve goals in a changing environment
