Job Description

Senior Financial Consultant needed to perform duties for a large higher education organization! You will managed complex grant reconciliation and reporting, assist with budget development, perform variance analysis and research journal entries as well as handle ad-hoc requests as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Accounting & Finance experience
  • Previous experience supporting Accounting functions within higher education, a university setting, or public-sector operations
  • Working knowledge of higher education platforms and/or Workday proficiency highly desired
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in an environment where needs and timelines may shift
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Background in financial or administrative processes such as reconciliations, journal support, general ledger activity, or month-end coordination is preferred

Nice to have

  • Higher education accounting experience preferred
  • Any experience with government regulatory reporting a plus
  • Working knowledge of higher education platforms and/or Workday proficiency highly desired
