The Sr. Financial Analyst, Global Sourcing will provide support to the sourcing organization with insights into the impacts of market changes on direct material spend across FBIN. Efforts will be focused around tracking, reporting, and forecasting inflation/deflation, purchase price variance, continuous improvement activities, and cash flow impact of extending payment terms.
Job Responsibility:
Provide financial support and guidance (monthly reporting, ad hoc analysis, accounting/forecasting support, etc.) to global sourcing organization with $2B+ in annual spend
Prepare monthly reporting and communication of purchase price variance, inflation, and CI
Prepare input to monthly forecasts and annual plans for direct sourcing around inflation, CI, and PPV
Forecast supplier price changes based on commodity/currency markets
Track currency/commodity trigger impacts for suppliers on trigger contracts
Prepare PPV analysis for forecast/actuals/plan and provide insights into key variances
Provide inputs into the annual costing cycle to ensure we have the appropriate costs
Prepare standard cost roll analysis inclusive of expected inflation/deflation and MCTO impacts
Provide quarterly commodity inflation schedule including actuals/forecast/plan
Provide tracking and accruals for vendor rebates
Work with the sourcing team to improve customer payment terms
Provide financial guidance and oversight to supplier negotiations and contract development
Prepare schedules around PPV, inflation/deflation, and MCTO for monthly operations reviews
Drive continuous improvement across work processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field required. 7+ years of experience preferred
Proven analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Strong Microsoft application skills (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) and other analytical systems/tools and ability to translate information into meaningful presentations
Ability to handle pressure and deadlines as well as perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Ability to work well with others and as part of a team
Nice to have:
MBA, CPA, or CMA is a plus
Experience with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, BPC, HFM, Essbase, or Tableau
