We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Richmond, Virginia, and offers an opportunity to work closely with the Plant Controller to drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. Job Responsibility:
Assist in the monthly financial close process for manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and precision in reporting
Deliver detailed financial analyses to support capital investments, cost efficiency strategies, and new product development initiatives
Perform variance analyses to identify deviations from expected financial outcomes and provide actionable recommendations
Collaborate across departments to offer financial insights that enhance cross-functional project outcomes
Uphold robust internal controls to guarantee the accuracy of financial data and protect company assets
Requirements:
Proven expertise in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret complex data to inform business decisions for a manufacturing company
Advanced skills in financial modeling to support strategic planning and forecasting
Strong background in variance analysis, with the ability to identify trends and propose corrective measures
Ability to conduct ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business challenges and opportunities
Proficiency in SAP for financial reporting and data management
