Senior Financial Analyst

• Analyze large datasets to evaluate cost structures and identify trends
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts, including operating profit and sales projections
• Prepare and review profit and loss statements, cash flow analyses, and balance sheets
• Perform variance analysis to compare actual results against forecasts and budgets
• Support month-end close activities, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation
• Provide detailed reports on expenses, assets, and other financial metrics
• Collaborate on ad hoc projects assigned by management to address specific business needs
• Utilize SAP systems to streamline financial planning and analysis
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies
• Conduct in-depth reviews of cost of goods sold (COGS) and other critical financial elements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong understanding of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Familiarity with SAP or similar financial systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Knowledge of retail industry financial practices is preferred
