Job Description:

We are looking for a talented finance professional to join the local CFO & Controller’s team covering the Central Europe sub-cluster of Citi with a focus on the Ukraine franchise. The team is responsible for the financial oversight of regional legal entities, and the generation, tracking and submission of financial & regulatory reports, as well as providing business intelligence to our key stakeholders, including the Citi Country Officers (CCO).

Job Responsibility:

Assist with financial and management reporting, financial control, planning and analysis, finance analytics, monitoring and forecasting
Contribute to delivering high quality finance business intelligence support to our key business stakeholders and the CCOs
Drive key project initiatives of the country finance teams from a technical SME capacity in the CE sub-cluster, with a focus on the Ukraine franchise
Identify and resolve emerging problems using subject-matter knowledge in finance, and proactively escalate issues as needed
Assist with the implementation of new process workflows for the team and contribute to process reengineering initiatives
Execute the finance team’s processes and in-house procedures as per defined parameters in a timely manner
Implement the necessary controls and take the necessary measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of the data used for reporting
Execute the internal control procedures in line with the internal policies and guidelines

Requirements:

4+ years of experience related to Finance, Accounting, Audit, or other related fields
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting or related majors
Strong knowledge of accounting standards
Knowledge of financial markets, banking products, understanding of key concepts in finance, financial reporting, IFRS, and regulatory policy
Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with complex spreadsheets
Experience with financial & regulatory reporting processes
Experience with scripting, data transformation tools, and data analytics platforms such as KNIME and/or Tableau
Clear and concise communication skills in English
Ukrainian language knowledge is a strong preference
Proactive attitude, ability to learn quickly and work successfully both independently and within a team, strong analytical skills, judgment and decision-making abilities

Nice to have:

Ukrainian language knowledge
Experience with scripting, data transformation tools, and data analytics platforms such as KNIME and/or Tableau
