We are currently partnering with a client in the Oklahoma City market on a search for a Senior Financial Analyst who can bring strong analytical insight and business partnership to their team. This role is critical in translating complex financial data into meaningful, actionable insights that help drive planning, improve performance, and support executive decision-making. We’re specifically targeting candidates who have a proven background in budgeting and forecasting, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various business units. Equally important is someone who can operate with a high level of discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
Job Responsibility
Develop management reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries that translate financial and operational data into meaningful insights for leadership
Lead monthly and annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance review activities, identifying performance drivers and explaining differences between results and expectations
Evaluate accounting activity and financial records to strengthen internal controls, improve accuracy, and support compliance requirements
Produce recurring profitability, cash flow, and financial statement reporting, including comparative analyses and department-level expense reviews
Create financial models, benchmark performance, and define key metrics to uncover trends, highlight gaps, and recommend corrective actions
Assess manufacturing productivity, cost performance, and yield measures to identify efficiency opportunities and support cost-reduction initiatives
Partner with executives, department leaders, and boards to present financial findings, support annual operating budgets, and communicate strategic recommendations
Assist with audit preparation, implementation of new accounting standards, and oversight of benefit-plan and tax-related financial reporting activities
Maintain general ledger support schedules, fixed asset records, reconciliations, journal entries, and cash flow forecasts to ensure reliable month-end and year-end reporting
Requirements
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or related corporate finance work
Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting for business decision support
Strong ability to interpret financial statements, profitability trends, and operational performance metrics
Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, executive summaries, and management-level financial presentations
Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, reconciliations, and audit support processes
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, trends, and cost-saving opportunities
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while managing confidential financial information with professionalism
