We are seeking a Finance Manager (c.2 years post-qualification) with a strong background in cost management and expense analysis. This role will take ownership of the company’s expense base, ensuring transparency, control, and actionable insights. The Finance Manager will be a key partner to all department teams to drive cost efficiency, optimise vendor spend, and strengthen controls across a complex multinational cost structure.
Job Responsibility:
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual expense reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and insight
Provide insightful analysis of expense movements against budget/forecast
Analyse cost drivers, variances, and trends to provide clear commentary to senior leadership
Manage accruals, prepayments, and allocation of costs across geographies and business lines
Ensure control of headcount planning and open roles from a budget/forecast perspective ensuring proposed recruitment is aligned with plan
Partner with all business departments and functions to track and challenge expenditure
Provide forward-looking analysis and insights to help optimise operational efficiency
Support procurement and vendor management processes with financial analysis of supplier costs
Lead the expense element of planning cycles (budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning)
Provide scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis on key cost categories (e.g. Compensation)
Deliver clear expense forecasts and identify risks/opportunities
Identify opportunities for process automation and simplification in expense management
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor cost efficiency across functions
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with c.2 years PQE
Strong experience in expense management, cost control, or FP&A in a multinational, Fintech, or high-volume business
Solid technical grounding in accounting standards (IFRS) and expense recognition principles
Strong financial modelling, Excel, and analytical skills

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
Commercial mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
