We are looking for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial planning and decision-making through detailed analysis, forecasting, and strategic collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset and expertise in financial modeling to support business growth and operational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and refine comprehensive financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and pricing tailored to project cycles and revenue streams
Conduct variance analyses to evaluate performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations
Lead annual budget processes and create business forecast models to guide strategic planning
Support strategic initiatives by building detailed financial models and conducting scenario analyses for projects and capital investments
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth through detailed financial reviews
Prepare and present insightful financial reports, dashboards, and executive summaries tailored to various stakeholders
Collaborate with project managers and department leaders to address financial needs and ensure accountability
Communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner to non-financial audiences
Enhance FP&A processes by streamlining workflows and improving data accuracy
Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to their growth and skills development
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a larger organization
Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analyzing complex datasets
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with FP&A/BI tools such as Power BI
Experience working with multi-entity operations
Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing team members
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Excellent communication skills to present financial concepts to diverse audiences
Ability to work strategically and tactically while managing multiple priorities
