Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing and interpreting financial data to guide decision-making and improve performance across multiple industries. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial reporting, variance analysis, and advanced Excel capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports with insights on key performance indicators and trends
Conduct detailed variance analyses to identify discrepancies and recommend actionable solutions
Develop and maintain financial reporting models using advanced Microsoft Excel functions
Collaborate with the Regional Controller to support budgeting and forecasting processes
Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business needs and challenges
Assist in strategic planning by providing data-driven insights and projections
Lead special financial projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and profitability
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies in all reporting activities
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field
Proficiency in variance analysis, KPI reporting, and financial modeling
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Ability to conduct ad hoc analyses to resolve specific business questions
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills to present data and recommendations to stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
