As Capital One grows and scales, the operations and servicing teams become increasingly important to drive scale, differentiated customer experience and efficiencies. This role will support the Customer Service and Strategy Organization (CS&S), with a focus on operations and servicing strategy. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, modeling, and building strong relationships with CS&S business partners. You will manage financial performance and business leaders with financial insights, directly influencing strategy, and driving business outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Ownership of budgeting and forecasting for areas of responsibility
Deliver accurate and meaningful financial management analyses to enable our partners to deliver on their financial and business objectives
Provide transparency on costs and drivers, and clearly communicate risks and opportunities to budget targets
Address and deliver on ad-hoc requests and special projects
Independently manage and prioritize workload
Demonstrate a passion to learn and continuously develop traditional FP&A and technical skills
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 2 years’ experience in financial analysis
At least 2 years’ experience with financial modeling
Nice to have:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
3+ years’ experience in financial analysis
3+ years’ experience with financial modeling
1+ years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
