Senior Financial Analyst

• Lead the development, implementation, and management of financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to identify opportunities and risks
• Prepare financial models, scenarios, and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads and senior management to develop accurate and achievable budgets
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business drivers
• Monitor actual financial performance against budget and forecast, analyzing variances and providing explanations and recommendations
• Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly financial statements, management reports, and ad-hoc analysis, to senior management and stakeholders
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and evaluate business performance
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
• Evaluate investment opportunities, capital projects, and strategic initiatives using financial analysis techniques such as NPV (Net Present Value), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), and ROI (Return on Investment)
• Assess the financial impact of proposed investments, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
• Provide recommendations on resource allocation and capital allocation strategies to maximize shareholder value
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast financial performance, assess business scenarios, and support decision-making
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate the potential impact of different business assumptions and scenarios
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend strategic actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, sales, and marketing, to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and align financial plans with business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, business partners, and stakeholders
• Communicate complex financial concepts and analysis effectively to non-financial stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving action

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred
• Minimum 5+ years* of experience in accounting and financial management roles, with progressive responsibility
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis using Excel and financial software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Tableau)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights and recommendations
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results within deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting
• Experience in a customer service role / client facing, public accounting, consulting or advisory roles is advantageous
