Senior Financial Analyst

• Develop and manage financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
• Perform detailed variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate the financial impact of organizational initiatives and projects
• Lead efforts in process improvement to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to address urgent business needs and provide actionable insights
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide financial expertise in capital planning
• Support disaster recovery planning by assessing financial implications and resource allocation
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial datasets
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports to executive leadership, translating complex data into actionable strategies
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve overall financial performance and organizational decision-making

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the utility or regulated industry
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced analytical techniques
• Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information effectively
• Expertise in variance analysis and ad hoc reporting
• Ability to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for process optimization
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
