Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's team fully remote team, based in the Portland Metro area. This is a long-term contract position designed to support their operations finance team with advanced financial modeling, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of accounting expertise, FP&A experience, and proficiency in financial systems to drive meaningful insights and strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis, cash flow projections, and trial balance reviews
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes
Enhance existing Anaplan models and create new ones to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
Prepare impactful presentations and reports to communicate financial insights effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data
Support the implementation and optimization of OneStream systems to streamline financial operations
Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address urgent business needs and provide actionable recommendations
Utilize data mining techniques to uncover trends and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
Assist in the preparation of board-level presentations to communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while maintaining data accuracy and integrity

Requirements:

Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting within a corporate environment
Advanced proficiency in financial systems, including Anaplan (Level 1 certification preferred) and OneStream
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and FP&A processes, with the ability to build P&L statements from trial balances
Exceptional presentation skills
Ability to perform variance analysis and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making
Proficiency in data mining techniques to extract and interpret meaningful insights from complex datasets
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and compliance
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
