Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their team on a hybrid basis in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping financial strategies by conducting in-depth analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that is private equity backed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support forecasting and decision-making processes.
  • Analyze financial performance by conducting variance analyses and identifying trends or areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare, review, and refine budgets that align with organizational goals.
  • Generate insightful ad hoc financial reports to guide strategic planning and operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and profitability.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting across multiple locations and operational units.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
  • Support the implementation of financial tools or systems to enhance reporting and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform financial strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, etc.
  • Solid understanding of variance analysis and its application in decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
