This role focuses on providing financial insights and support for manufacturing operations, including cost accounting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. The position requires collaboration with various departments to optimize operational efficiency and drive profitability.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and performance reviews for manufacturing operations
Analyze standard costs, inventory movements, and manufacturing variances such as labor, materials, and overhead
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including production volume and capacity planning
Collaborate with leaders to identify cost drivers and recommend efficiency improvements
Develop and maintain financial models for capital investments, pricing strategies, and margin analysis
Monitor inventory levels and trends, including reserves and excess or obsolete inventory
Assist with financial close processes, such as journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare executive-level reporting packages and dashboards to inform strategic decisions
Ensure compliance with audit requirements by supporting internal and external audit requests
Contribute to financial system enhancements and optimization initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Progressive experience in a financial analysis role
Strong ability to communicate financial insights effectively to stakeholders from non-financial backgrounds
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with data mining techniques and ad hoc financial analysis
