We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Responsibility:
Oversee financial planning and analysis functions for assigned business units, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis efforts
Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership to guide strategic decision-making
Act as the primary financial partner for business leaders within designated areas
Collaborate with accounting, business units, and leadership teams to align on financial objectives and reporting
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance standards
Review and manage Authorization for Expenditure forms and intercompany allocations
Support contract administration, ensuring alignment with budgeting and accounting requirements
Lead and contribute to company-wide financial initiatives and special projects
Develop and refine financial processes, reporting mechanisms, and system integration efforts
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role
Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights
Familiarity with data mining techniques and financial systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial governance practices
Experience managing enterprise-wide financial initiatives or projects
