Job Responsibility:

  • Lead strategic financial initiatives and drive growth within a dynamic team at a global e-commerce giant
  • Play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategies for a major aspect of the company's logistics network
  • Partner with various departments, including Transportation, Customer Experience, and Technology, to optimize cost, speed, and accuracy of delivery
  • Be deeply involved in carrier selection strategy, leading large-scale projects that directly impact millions of customers
  • Lead large-scale projects, providing financial support and strategic guidance to maximize efficiency within the transportation network
  • Act as a finance partner to the transportation team, translating complex financial data into actionable business insights
  • Develop and implement robust financial processes and tools to enhance strategic and tactical decision-making
  • Analyze data to create impactful reports and metrics to improve cash flow and the customer experience
  • Contribute to team development and mentorship

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
  • 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
  • Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
  • Business level of Japanese language skill (reading, writing, speaking)

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • MBA, or CPA
