The Senior Financial Analyst – Commercial Finance position will partner with Global Corporate Account and Distribution sales organizations in the financial management and administration of the corporate account & distribution business. The emphasis of this position is to understand the Global Corporate Account customer programs and distribution business model, act as a financial and business consultant, and grow and protect the corporate account customer base while increasing profitability. This position will prepare analysis and create insights specifically tailored to commercial arrangements.
Job Responsibility:
Provides direct support to the Corporate Account (G)CAMs in the financial management and administration of the Corporate Accounts business
Act as finance business partner for the Distribution organization, supporting contract discussions, profitability insights and process alignments
Support bill back implementation process, as project coordinator
Presentation and routing of proposals for management approvals when required
Monitors cost guarantee and flat-fee programs, including identification of excess product consumption, and providing corrective action recommendations
Reviews and approves customer refunds in accordance with contract terms
Partner with the Global Corporate Account Sales associates to understand and communicate the impact of their sales activity
Drive process improvement and best practices within the commercial finance team
Project work and various ad hoc analyses as needed
Requirements:
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of relevant work experience (P&A, Controlling, Commercial Finance roles)
English fluency with strong written and verbal communication skills
Supervisory experience is an asset
Ability to create strong cross-functional relationships
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
