Job Description:

At Allianz Commercial, ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support business goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Global P&L analysis and reviews
  • assist internal clients with reports, research and other activities
  • identify items for discussion or resolution
  • respond to audit and regulator queries
  • archive records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements
  • document application of policies, procedures, and workflow
  • maintain oversight of data structure of source and general ledger systems
  • support building trust with external stakeholders
  • involve in month-end closing activities
  • coordination, transfer, and reconciliation of data
  • ensure that all IFRS, GAAP, and statutory reporting tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • perform PL analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
  • take care of monthly legal entity close submission activities
  • execute and fulfill internal and external reporting requirements
  • support IFRS17 reporting
  • support testing of systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or qualified by experience in related discipline
  • recognized professional qualification related to Accounting (e.g., CPA, etc.)
  • professional working experience in audit or commercial with General Insurance or reinsurance Industry for at least 4 years
  • experience in MAS reporting, GST, preparation of Tax schedules
  • proven understanding of standard accounting (GAAP & IFRS) for insurance and reinsurance
  • project and teamwork in a dynamic and international environment
  • analytical thinking and numeracy
  • ability to identify patterns and root causes in complex data and processes
  • communication and presentation skills
  • ability to convey information clearly and effectively
  • problem-solving ability
  • project management skills
  • ability to handle complex processes including understanding of data flows
  • advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • experience with automation tools
  • comprehensive knowledge of local GAAP, IAS / IFRS, Regulatory, Tax with regards to reporting, compliance and declaration
  • understanding insurance financial statements and their performance measurement.
