CPA license preferred or in pursuit with completion within 2 years
At least 1.5+ years of accounting experience
Experience working for a large public accounting firm in audit with a focus on publicly traded clients or experience working for a large publicly traded corporation preferred
Familiarity with the preparation of financial statements
Strong working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and risk assessment practices.

Job Responsibility

Prepare and compile consolidated reports, including periodic submissions such as 10-K and 10-Q filings
Ensure accuracy by assisting with account reconciliations and monitoring controls related to consolidations
Support the review process for filings in various formats, like XBRL and HTML
Organize and validate supporting documentation ('tie-outs') for financial reports
Help coordinate the submission of Press Releases and ensure compliance with SEC requirements
Play a key role in preparing disclosure checklists to comply with GAAP
Conduct research on technical accounting topics and provide recommendations as needed
