Senior Financial Accountant

• Preparing, reviewing and collaborating monthly on activities related to the finance and accounting function with additional requirements for end of financial year.
• Partner with business stakeholders preparing timely, accurate and insightful information for effective business management and decision making.
• Manage month end processes for a number of business units including journal posting, provision of financial analysis/insights and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage all aspects of the financial accounting including: regularly review of the data from the financial systems to provide timely and accurate financial results for Ayers Rock Resort.
• Mentoring and coaching team members.

• CA/CPA Qualified with 5+ years’ experience in accounting
• Bachelor's degree of Accounting or similar field
• Comfortable operating in a multisystem environment
• Intermediate to advanced Excel for data analysis, process improvement and efficiency.
• Experience within “Business Central” (BC) accounting systems, Work day, Opera, Power BI and Materials Control

A background in hotel/hospitality operations is well regarded but not essential.
