Job Description:

Join a leading global innovator as a Senior Financial Accountant. This role involves financial reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and budget preparation. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience. The Financial Accountant is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for assisting with the preparation of more routine financial reports, processing journal entries and the accounting month-end, as well as preparing balance sheet reconciliations. This primary objective of this role is to report on costs, productivity, margins, and expenditures, as well as offer financial recommendations and may also assist with the management and preparation of budgets.

Job Responsibility:

Assists with financial forecasting processes
Reconciles accounts, resolves discrepancies and collaborate across various finance and non-finance functions
Responsible for analyzing journals, producing data analysis and reports and assists with variance analysis
Responsible for the assembly of the annual audit information for external auditors
As a partner in the accounting process, recommends how to improve efficiency using automation
Analyzes past performance financial data and prepares budgets and forecasts for business unit management
Implements effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures
Plans month-end activities which includes the preparation and processing of month-end journal entries and executing a variety of actions in the accounting system
Performs any other relevant task as requested by management

Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or related field
Seasoned experience gained in similar role preferably within a similar global organization
Seasoned financial accounting experience
Seasoned experience working on financial systems / software
