In March 2026 Unilever announced the Unilever announced the combination of the Unilever Foods with McCormick with a target completion date of mid-2027. This is a temporary role created to support the Controlling workstream, focused on coordinating and delivering high-quality financial information for the carve-out process across 1UL Latam. The role involves close collaboration with Global, regional and local teams to ensure alignment, data integrity, audit readiness and timely delivery in a complex and dynamic transformation environment.
Job Responsibility
Act as the central coordination point between Global, regional and local teams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables for the project
Lead the preparation, validation and consolidation of carve-out financial statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, audit readiness and robust supporting documentation
Coordinate and track inputs across cross-functional teams in the regions
Review, validate and ensure quality, completeness and consistency of all information
Ensure proper documentation and audit trail to support reported figures
Track adjustments, queries and versions of data packs
Analyze and address key accounting matters arising from the carve out
Support the audit process
Provide ongoing support to the project, addressing ad hoc requests, resolving emerging issues and ensuring continuity of deliverables, including preparing missing information when required
Support the design and implementation of the Target Operating Model and transition setup (Day 1 readiness), including TSA framework, legal entity setup and business continuity
Ensure effective execution and control of key financial transactions and impacts, including intercompany profit flows, asset transfers, and tax and treasury implications, while maintaining compliance and governance standards
Requirements
Proven and strong track record in finance function
Experience of financial accounting / reporting / Controlling (preferable)
Ability to meet rigorous reporting requirements and timelines
quickly and proactively resolve issues and manage stakeholders at various levels of the business with strong communication skills
Self-starter – can work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient in English
Prior experience of working with different cultures and countries would be an advantage
Leadership and management skills required
SAP / BCS / ifinance– Desirable
