Job Description:

Senior Finance Manager | Innovative Design-Led Scaleup | London. Harmonic are proud to have been retained by a disruptive design business in their search for a Finance Manager who will partner with the Founders to scale the business from £10m to £30m turnover. This role is well suited to a highly skilled individual who thrives in a fast-growth, dynamic environment, and is looking for clear progression to the Head of Finance level.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with the Founders and senior leadership team to provide strategic and commerical financial insight
Drive process automation and improve efficiency across finance and operations. Reviewing processes, automating through plug-ins and Ai etc
Built, mentor, and develop a small but high-performing finance team which currently oversees accounts payable and accounts recievables processes
Analyse product profitability, pricing strategies, and cost management (unit economics)
Produce monthly management accounts and company board pack reports
Manage cash flow forecasting and the budgets & forecasts process (alongside experienced Fractional CFO)
Liase with external auditors/accountants on the production of Statutory Accounts / year end accounts
Ensure that systems are maintainted / any ad-hoc projects to improve reporting cycles etc

Requirements:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS)
Experience in a fast-growth, SME environment
Excellent communication skills, especially with senior leadership and non-finance stakeholders

Nice to have:

Experience in retail, ecommerce, consumer, FMCG, manufacturing, furniture, interiors, product, design services
Experience with WIP / Project accounting
Systems savvy with exposure to Xero
Strong passion for design and sustainability
