Job Description

Are you excited by the challenge of helping Microsoft launch products quickly and responsibly? As a Senior Finance Manager, you will help shape how new commercial offerings come to market by driving finance compliance, launch readiness, and scalable governance across a complex, fast-moving business. You will join the New Commerce Finance Compliance Engagement Team within Microsoft Planning and Launch, partnering closely across Finance, Engineering, Operations, Business Planning, and Business Development. In this role, you will assess launch requests, identify financial risk, clarify requirements, and help deliver compliant, high-quality launches at scale. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a finance leader who thrives in ambiguity, influences across functions, and enjoys improving processes that support innovation with strong financial integrity.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end finance compliance execution for commercial pricing and revenue bundle allocations in partnership with finance, accounting, and operations teams
  • Own the Commercial Per User financial compliance launch portfolio, ensuring alignment with Microsoft finance policies and accounting standards
  • Drive scalable process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Influence senior stakeholders and help shape finance governance frameworks across cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field AND 4+ years experience in finance or financial compliance OR equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field AND 8+ years experience in finance or financial compliance OR Master's Degree in finance or related field AND 6+ years experience in finance or financial compliance OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial compliance, or a related function
