Job Responsibility:
SSC Leadership & Build: Successfully ramp up and lead a team of approximately 50-60 finance professionals. Be the primary site role model and foster a positive, high-performance environment
Transition & Integration: Play an active, hands-on role in the transition of core finance processes (AP, AR, GL) from European entities to the new Hungarian SSC
System Implementation: Ensure the effective integration of the unified finance process model into SAP ECC (or equivalent ERP system)
Process Harmonization: Manage all functional processes within the SSC, applying leading finance practices, and actively driving process harmonization and standardization across the managed countries
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvement projects, including technology solutioning, to enhance quality and efficiency
Strategy & Vision: Act as a visionary leader, capable of presenting future strategies and clear direction to stakeholders at all levels
Stakeholder Management: Engage in strong collaboration with business leaders and key stakeholders to develop professional, trust-based relationships
Requirements:
Proven Leadership: 5+ years of experience in people management (hiring, coaching, developing, and motivating teams)
SSC Expertise: 5+ years of experience in a Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) environment
Team Scale: Experience in managing a large transactional finance team (e.g., AP/AR/GL)
Education: College or University degree (preferably in Economics or Finance with a major in Accounting or equivalent qualification)
System Knowledge: Practical knowledge of SAP or another major ERP system
Language Skills: Excellent English skills
Nice to have:
Transition Experience: Proven experience with finance process transition/migration projects
Multilingual: Conversational knowledge in one of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, French, or German
