Job Description:

Lead the financial strategy of a dynamic Consumables division and build a high-performing team. The role is based in Tokyo and involves partnering with senior leadership, driving data-driven decisions, and shaping long-term growth strategies. The Senior Finance Manager will develop and mentor a high-performing team, overseeing all aspects of P&L management, from controllership and forecasting to strategic analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the financial strategy of a dynamic Consumables division and build a high-performing team
  • Partner with leadership to drive data-driven decision-making and long-term growth
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights for executive decisions
  • Manage end-to-end financial processes, including planning cycles
  • Support new customer experience initiatives
  • Implement processes to evaluate investments and business strategies
  • Establish control frameworks and key metrics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Significant experience in P&L management and financial planning
  • Proven team leadership and people development skills
  • Proficiency in financial planning systems and advanced analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel
  • Business-level English and Japanese language proficiency (written and oral communication)
