We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager - FP&A to lead pivotal financial planning and analysis activities for our North American Division. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership teams across commercial, operations, and supply chain functions to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position is based in the Novi, Michigan area and offers the opportunity to shape financial processes, drive cost efficiencies, and support long-term business goals.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and oversee monthly financial forecasts, providing detailed analysis of performance drivers
Lead the creation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans to support organizational goals
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior leadership in North America
Deliver in-depth business analysis to support decision-making across commercial, operations, and supply chain teams
Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and account reconciliations
Update standard costs, perform product costing, and conduct margin analysis to optimize profitability
Coordinate customer pricing updates and assess the financial impact of proposed changes
Monitor, validate, and report on cost-saving initiatives across the organization
Supervise and mentor a team of FP&A analysts, encouraging attention to detail and ensuring high-quality output
Implement improvements to financial processes, tools, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial roles, preferably in manufacturing or Fortune 500 companies
Expertise in financial planning and analysis, with a strong understanding of cost accounting
Proven ability to analyze financial results and provide strategic insights to leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management tools such as Hyperion
Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment while driving process improvements
