Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the primary finance leadership support for key business leaders, including the leadership team for the Boeing Engineering & Technology Centers Globally
  • Partner with finance colleagues across the enterprise and worldwide in the oversight and support of engineering work placed with Boeing Global Engineering centers including India for execution
  • Lead the design and implementation of efficient finance processes for growing business activity
  • Acquiring resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholder’s peers partners and direct reports
  • Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Directs daily operations of the work unit
  • Frequent contacts with internal personnel and external representatives concerning operations, scheduling or specific phases of projects or contracts
  • Exerts influence in the development of overall objectives and long-term goals of the organization
  • Typically developing budgets, schedules and performance standards
  • Directly manages non-management employees in daily operations
  • Manages employees and first-level managers from more than one finance business
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives
  • Directly participates in establishing and administering multiple projects
  • Develop and administer budgets, schedules and performance standards
  • Manages large or complex teams of managers and or non-management employees (typically at the professional level)
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
  • Manages develop and motivate employees and first-level managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree / Chartered Accountant (CA) or higher
  • 13+ years of experience as a Finance Leader managing a team of Finance professionals across different finance domains – FP&A, Accounting etc.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate individual contributors and accomplish results through non-management employees
  • Skilled in advising a work unit regarding tasks, projects and operations
  • Actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedule or resolve complex problems

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of policies and procedures that typically affect subordinate organizational units
  • Knowledge of skills and abilities required by managers or non-management employees to accomplish organizational responsibilities
  • Ability to accomplish results through managers or non-management employees
