The Cloud Infra and Supply Execution (CISE) finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy. The CISE finance team is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time, right place and right cost. We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager - Data Center Innovation and Strategy to support financial planning and controllership for Datacenter Design and Office of CO+I CTO.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support monthly/quarterly processes around close, forecasting, budget, and long-range planning functions across Datacenter Finance team and orchestrate more broadly across the finance organization
  • Support capital approval processes to support our growing Cloud business
  • Partner with engineering leaders on DC design, costing, value engineering and capital investments needed
  • Be a cultural champion for inclusion, growth mindsets, and establish culture and norms that support consistent quality employee and partner experiences

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organization, and creating effecting partnerships
  • Ability to achieve results through both individual and cross team efforts, to manage multiple projects at the same time, and to work effectively under deadline constraints
  • Proven ability to drive projects and analysis to closure in a collaborative and matrixed environment
  • Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, including: analysis, forecasting, planning, reporting, and developing financial models
