Job Description:

Global company with under 100 staff in Japan. You will report to APAC Finance Head, while managing 1-2 members.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end close, journal entries, and financial reviews
Manage P&L to maximize profitability from FP&A stand point
Oversee timely transaction recording and account reconciliations
Analyze key customer, channel, and spending areas
Improve working capital, gross margin, and financial performance
Prepare statutory financial reports, tax submissions, and audits
Monitor budget, forecast updates, and provide weekly reports
Ensure financial controls and J-SOX compliance
Collaborate with teams to achieve growth and budget goals
Drive process improvements and optimize financial practices

Requirements:

Proven experience in covering FP&A & Accounting
Knowledge of Japanese GAAP and statutory regulations
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player
Ability to handle and resolve ad-hoc, complex and ambiguous cases
Effective communication in Japanese and English
