We are looking for a Senior Finance Consultant to support financial planning, performance analysis, and executive reporting for a Fortune 1000 financial services client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a finance specialist who can translate complex data into clear business insights, strengthen forecasting processes, and partner effectively with leaders across the company. The role offers broad exposure to budgeting, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives in a dynamic corporate finance environment. This role is onsite, 5 days a week. NO REMOTE OR HYBRID candidates will be considered.
Job Responsibility
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and longer-range financial plans to support business and leadership objectives
Develop and refine financial models that evaluate profitability, trends, and multiple business scenarios to improve decision support
Produce monthly and quarterly financial reporting materials, including variance reviews, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations for senior stakeholders
Investigate financial performance drivers, highlight potential risks and opportunities, and recommend practical actions based on quantitative analysis
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business inputs, confirm assumptions, and communicate meaningful financial insights to decision-makers
Support strategic finance work related to business cases, growth initiatives, cost management efforts, and other enterprise priorities
Help improve reporting and planning processes through standardization, automation, and enhancements to modeling frameworks
Ensure all deliverables align with internal controls, company policies, and required financial governance standards
Requirements
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related finance role
Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, month-end close support, and financial reporting
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain financial models for planning, trend evaluation, and scenario analysis
Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, or Adaptive Planning
Solid understanding of variance analysis and the ability to present findings clearly to business leaders
Experience working collaboratively across departments to collect data, validate assumptions, and support informed decisions
High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and consistent execution
