Job Description

The Senior Finance Business Partner is a critical link between Finance and designated functional business areas. This role partners with leaders across the organisation to deliver actionable financial insights, shape strategic and operational planning, and enable effective decision-making. You are responsible for producing high-quality reporting, supporting forecast and budget cycles, and ensuring financial alignment across the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Build & maintain trusted relationships with functional leads
  • Provide commercial insight and challenge to support decision-making
  • Translate financial analysis into strategic advice & recommendations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to build functional area forecasts & budgets
  • Support the development & review of business cases, including capital investment proposals & other commercial initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally to improve understanding of financial impacts & outcomes
  • Actively engage in leadership & project meetings, bringing a finance lens to discussions
  • Analyse key variances & trends & communicate drivers of performance

Requirements

  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
  • 3+ years post qualification experience within a large, complex business
  • confident communicator
  • experience building influential relationships with key stakeholders
  • experience with a business that has physical products (highly advantageous)
