We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join a major UK infrastructure programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, supporting significant investment projects and partnering with senior stakeholders across a complex organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing strategic financial support, challenging decision-making constructively, and driving robust financial planning and performance management across large-scale programmes.
Job Responsibility
Partner with senior business leaders to provide strategic financial insight and challenge
Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities
Support investment decisions through financial analysis and business case development
Provide financial oversight across major capital and infrastructure programmes
Drive performance reporting and financial governance processes
Influence stakeholders at senior and executive level to support effective decision-making
Work closely with programme and project teams to ensure financial objectives are achieved
Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
Requirements
Significant Finance Business Partnering experience within complex organisations
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Strong track record of leading budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
Experience partnering with senior leadership teams and influencing decision-making
Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, construction, engineering or transformation programmes
Ability to challenge constructively and provide commercial financial insight
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Nice to have
Experience within highly regulated environments
Public sector, defence, nuclear or infrastructure sector experience
Business case development and investment appraisal expertise
Experience working alongside Project Controls functions
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion
