This is a high-impact role designed to lead a capability uplift, moving beyond traditional management accounting into a strategic, "seat-at-the-table" partnership. You will join a dedicated and service-oriented finance team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a true business partner to high-level, non-finance stakeholders, including Deputy Vice-Chancellors and Chiefs of Staff
  • Lead and motivate a client service team, fostering a culture of excellence and providing coaching to further elevate their capabilities
  • Manage the development and delivery of complex financial analysis and reporting to inform business growth and operational performance
  • Identify and respond strategically to issues, trends, and opportunities to improve financial capability across the portfolio
  • Build and sustain professional networks with an extensive network of University staff, clients, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • CPA or CA qualified with demonstrated experience in a business partnering role
  • Demonstrated management experience in strategic budget development and financial analysis within a complex environment
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and foster a culture of focused customer service during periods of transition
  • Advanced experience with financial management systems, TM1 is highly desirable
