Job Description

A growing biosolutions company is looking for a commercially minded and analytically strong Senior Finance & Business Controller to join its team in Copenhagen. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining hands-on financial control with forward-looking business insight, and who wants to help build a modern finance function in a scaling business. You will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, performance management, and business partnering across the company. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will help drive better decision-making through clear reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and actionable analysis.

Job Responsibility

  • Driving budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial planning
  • Preparing monthly management reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking
  • Supporting leadership with financial modelling and scenario analysis
  • Partnering with commercial, operational, and leadership teams to improve performance
  • Monitoring risks and opportunities across revenue, margin, cost base, and profitability
  • Supporting closing processes, reporting accuracy, and financial controls
  • Improving finance processes, reporting routines, and system usage

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in finance controlling, business controlling, FP&A, or similar
  • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modelling
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders outside finance
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/reporting tools
  • A structured, analytical, and proactive working style
  • The ability to translate financial data into clear recommendations

Nice to have

Experience from food, FMCG, manufacturing, biotech, biosolutions, or other operationally complex environments will be an advantage
